Every day at school, Meg has the opportunity to earn a "Husky High-Five" which means if she's caught doing something good or helpful she is given a little piece of paper with her name on it and her teacher's name on it. She brings part of it home and the other part goes into a box for each grade by the principal's office. Every couple of weeks there is a drawing from each box and one child from each grade is the winner of a small prize. On October 4, 2013, Megan's name was drawn! She was so excited to get a prize with a pencil and eraser, a bouncy ball, a ruler, and a bookmark inside.
October 4 was also the day of the Husky Fun Run at Keller Elementary. Each student walked/ran around the track outside to stay healthy. Each child who participated was given a blue Keller Elementary drawstring bag to bring home. She had such an exciting day and couldn't stop talking about all the fun she had. We're so proud of our little Husky!
